Teacher Orientation & Training

Our teachers are regularly send for workshops organised by CISCE and also by various other organizations to keep them updated with the latest changes in pedagogy.

In-house and need based workshops on the concept of ‘Teacher as a learner’ is provided for enriching the teaching learning process.

“The Awakened Citizen Programme”

 

Year – 1 Workshop
An illuminating Facilitators’ Development Workshop for “The Awakened Citizen Programme” was held at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark from 23rd to 28th April. The workshop  was conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi. The program was divided into 3 years ,keeping 2 days each for year 1,2 and 3.Nomination of new teachers is restricted to year 1 which is meant for class 7,year 2 for class 8 and year 3 for class 9.The year 1 program conducted on 23rd and 24th of April focused on explaining the universal possibilities of each and every individual. One should rekindle and nurture the golden values of being heroic, expanding oneself, living in harmony, developing Atmashraddha, seeking perfection and being a truth seeker. We should aim for such education by which character is formed and strength of mind is increased. The resource persons of the whole program namely Mr. Sanjeev Sengupta, Ms. Manjeera, Ms. Piya, Ms. Chaitali Chatterjee, Asif, and Ms. Sangita Sengupta ingeniously conducted the program and inspired all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Year – 2 Workshop
The workshop on “The Awakened Citizen Programme” for year 2 was held at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark on 25th and 26th of April. This program focused on explaining the universal possibilities of each and every individual into much more details. Probing into the noble virtues of life-building, man-making and character-making, the program portrayed on the lesson of rekindling the inner power within us. The end of all education, all training, should be man-making. Swami Vivekananda’s dream to see India one day shine as a fully educated country and children armed with the right tools to face real life problems and make right choices was the basic enlightening thought throughout.
