ASSEMBLY ON EARTH DAY AND LABOUR DAY

An assembly celebrating the Earth Day and Labour Day was organised in the school Amphitheatre on 7^th May 2025.Earth Day is celebrated around the world with a beautiful message - “Our continuing efforts in our everyday lives will make this beautiful planet thrive.” Earth Day is a proof that even one person can make a global impact in a positive way. May 1^st is notable as International Labour Day or May Day. Red roses and refreshments were distributed by Vice Principal Ma’am and the students among the housekeeping staff and the supporting staff of the school paying respect to them. The school through this beautiful and beneficial gesture not only paid their tribute to the unstinted and continuous service of the working staff but also taught the students to help, respect and support them by maintaining cleanliness and discipline around them. Children learned that they should always have gratitude in their hearts for those who serve them and be caring and reverential towards all those who help us on daily basis. An array of creative events like dance performances and songs were organized on stage celebrating Earth Day also with a view to sensitize the students about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. Both events were celebrated successfully in the school premises and created enough awareness and impact among all. EARTH DAY: "GREEN IS THE NEW PRIDE: LET'S NURTURE OUR PLANET FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW!" LABOUR DAY: "HANDS THAT WORK, HEARTS THAT CARE: CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF LABOUR AND DEDICATION!"
