Overview of School Infirmaries

To ensure the health and well-being of all students, the school maintains four dedicated infirmaries—two each for boys and girls—strategically located across the Main Building and the Annexe Building. These facilities are designed to provide prompt medical attention, rest, and recovery support during school hours.

Facilities & Features

All infirmaries are equipped to handle minor injuries, sudden illnesses, and short-term observation. Key features include:
  • Medical Beds with privacy curtains
  • Basic First Aid Supplies (bandages, antiseptics, thermometers, etc.)
  • Emergency Response Kit for critical situations
  • Rest & Observation Area for students feeling unwell
  • Clean Drinking Water & Sanitation Access
  • Health Record Logbook for documenting visits and interventions

Staffing & Protocols

  • Each infirmary is supervised by a trained medical assistant or nurse, available during school hours.
  • In case of emergencies, the staff follows a triage protocol and coordinates with the school office for hospital referrals.
  • Parents are notified immediately if a student requires external medical attention.
  • Confidentiality and gender sensitivity are maintained at all times.

Record-Keeping & Communication

  • A digital and physical record of student visits is maintained for health tracking and parental communication.
  • Periodic health awareness sessions and first-aid drills are conducted to promote student safety and preparedness.
