DENTAL HYGIENE WORKSHOP

CLASS III TO V The school organized a Dental Hygiene Workshop for Classes II,IV and V to help students understand the importance of healthy teeth and gums. The dentist explained why brushing twice a day is necessary and demonstrated the correct way of brushing in small circular motions. Students were also taught to use a soft-bristled toothbrush and to brush for at least 2–3 minutes. The session highlighted the importance of fluoride toothpaste in protecting teeth from cavities, while also recommending children’s toothpaste with mild flavors as safe for young students. The dentist advised everyone to avoid excessive sweets, drink plenty of water, and visit the dentist regularly. The workshop was very useful as it encouraged students to follow proper dental care and maintain a bright and healthy smile.
