DOCTOR’S DAY

Classes II-V On 1st July 2025, the students of Classes II-V celebrated Doctors’ Day to honour the contribution of doctors and the legacy of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned doctor and former Chief Minister of West Bengal. The teachers shared interesting facts about Dr. B.C. Roy, and the students enthusiastically dressed up as doctors and nurses, role-played as medical professionals and patients, and created gratitude cards and posters. With the teachers’ guidance, they prepared a large chart decorated with small notes expressing their gratitude. The children also visited the school infirmary and different departments of the school building. The celebration was both enjoyable and educational, fostering in the students a deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work of doctors. Students delivered speeches highlighting the importance of doctors and their contributions to society, emphasizing their role as "real-life heroes" who work tirelessly to save lives. Students performed skits depicting a day in the life of a doctor and showcased the use of medical instruments. The celebration aimed to foster a sense of gratitude among students for the sacrifices and dedication of doctors and to raise an awareness about the importance of doctors in maintaining public health and well-being.
