Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence on 8^th May 2025 to commemorate the 164^th birth anniversary of the legendary poet, Rabindranath Tagore. The event aimed to pay tribute to Tagore’s immense contribution to literature, music, art and education. The program began with a special prayer followed by the thought for the day. The highlights of the event were the cultural performances by the students which included speech on Tagore’s life, work and artwork; Rabindra sangeet, dance and recitation based on Tagore’s writings. Students dressed in traditional attire added a festive touch to the event. The celebration emphasized the importance of remembering Tagore’s values and teachings in today’s world, instilling a sense of pride, appreciation and inspiration among all. “CELEBRATING THE TIMELESS WORDS AND WISDOM OF GURUDEV TAGORE.”
