SEWAIN FESTIVAL
The Sewai Festival was joyfully celebrated by the Pre-Primary children on 4th April 2025. As a part of the celebration, children relished traditional Eid delicacies such as Firni and Biryani, which they had brought for their tiffin. “Savor the Flavor, Share the Joy – Sewai Festival!” Classes II to V celebrated the event to mark the end of the blessed month of Ramadan and the festivity of Eid-ul-Fitr. Students united in universal brotherhood and kindness for this occasion with great enthusiasm. They prepared healthy, flavorsome, wonderful vermicelli with dry fruits and condiments. The class started with a special prayer giving thanks to the Almighty for the valuable day, followed by a short speech by the class teacher on the implications of Eid and Sewain. After this, students of all classes delivered short speeches on the occasion. They also told short stories of unity, brotherhood, and compassion. The informative speeches and interesting stories boosted consciousness among students. Fervent parents at home not only cooked the dish in their kitchens but also trained their children to learn how to prepare it. As a special gesture, the dishes were sent to school and shared among all friends. The event reminded everyone that small acts of love and care can make this world a better place. India, being a secular country, takes part in all merriments regardless of its variances in ethos or language. The citizens respect each other's celebration as their own. This essence of harmony echoed promisingly in this sincere and whole-hearted effort of the school to reveal the same and was treasured by all. SEVAI FESTIVAL – “SHARING SWEETNESS, WEAVING BONDS OF LOVE AND TOGETHERNESS.”
