INTER HOUSE HINDI RECITATION COMPETITION

The Inter-House Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was organized with great enthusiasm and zeal on 7th May, 2026 at Delhi Public School Megacity. The program was inaugurated by our respected Head Master Dr. Kalyan Basu, who encouraged the participants with his inspiring words.

The panel of judges included Dhrubani Ma’am, Richa Ma’am, and Aarti Ma’am, who enthusiastically evaluated the performances of the participants.

The event was gracefully anchored by Kavya Agrawal from class 8J and Abhiraj Ghosh from class 7D, who added charm and liveliness to the poetic occasion. Participants from Classes VI to IX representing the four houses — Agni, Jal, Prithvi, and Vayu — displayed excellent performances while paying careful attention to theme, expression, rhythm, pronunciation, and presentation.

The students of Class VI presented humorous poems filled with laughter and joy, whereas the students of Class VII beautifully expressed the beauty and depth of nature through poetry. The students of Class VIII impressed everyone with patriotic and heroic poems, while the students of Class IX recited poems highlighting social inequalities and contemporary issues. Every participant showcased remarkable talent and confidence.

The event became successful and memorable due to the cooperation and guidance of all the participants and the Hindi teachers of the respective houses.

At the end of the competition, the judges announced the winners after a fair and thoughtful evaluation. Vayu House secured the first position, Prithvi House stood second, and Jal House achieved the third position.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by our respected mentor, Anup Kumar Srivastava, whose encouraging words brought the event to a successful close.
