🔬✨ CRESCO SCIENTIAM 5.0 | Celebrating Scientific Imagination
DPS Megacity, Kolkata, hosted its flagship Inter-school science festival, Cresco Scientiam 5.0, on 25th and 26th September 2026, welcoming around 500 students from Classes VI–XII across 11 schools for 16 dynamic events themed “Mythology, Cosmos and Environment.” 🌌🌿
Guided by the spirit of CREATE. ESTABLISH. COMPETE. 🚀, the festival encouraged students to explore science through inquiry, strategy, creativity and collaboration. The Mythology realm featured epic-inspired strategy, storytelling and performance; Cosmos explored Chemistry, Forensics, Mathematics, Robotics and Quizzing; while Environment connected science with Drama, Journalism, Genetics and Architecture.
DPS Megacity emerged as the Overall Champion, followed by DPS Newtown as First Runner-Up and Sri Sri Academy as Second Runner-Up. In a gracious gesture, DPS Megacity handed the Winning Trophy to DPS Newtown, who passed the First Runner-Up Trophy to Sri Sri Academy, earning a thunderous round of applause. Calcutta Boys’ School was thereby recognised as the Second Runner-Up.
