SPREADING LIGHT THIS DIWALI: INTERACT CLUB OF DPS MEGACITY VISITS FUTURE HOPE SCHOOL

The Interact Club of DPS Megacity once again lived up to its motto of  Service Before  Self with a heartfelt visit to Future Hope School,  a charitable organization, to celebrate Diwali with its children on 5th November 2026, World Interact Day.

The visit was an initiative to bring joy, warmth and festive cheer to the children and to make their Diwali celebration a little brighter and more memorable because Diwali is truly beautiful when its light is shared with others.

The occasion held special significance as the visit also marked a joyful early Children’s Day celebration with the children of Future Hope School, making the day a beautiful blend of festive spirit and childhood cheer.

As a token of love and continued support, the Interact Club donated a cheque of ₹10,000 to the school. The cheque was handed over to the Director, Mr. Samarjit Guha, who graciously accepted the contribution on behalf of the school and thanked the Interact Club for its thoughtful gesture.

The members of the Interact Club spent quality time with the children, engaging with them in cheerful conversation and festive activities. Sweets were distributed among all the children, filling the campus with smiles, laughter and the true spirit of Diwali and Children’s Day, spreading happiness and reminding the children that they are loved and cherished by the community.

For the Interactors, the visit was a deeply touching experience. It reinforced the values of empathy, compassion and social responsibility that the Interact movement stands for.
