Doctor’s Day Pre-Primary

“Learning To Care, Growing To Heal” – Happy Doctors' Day DPS Megacity, Kolkata celebrated Doctors' Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude to honour the dedication and selfless service of doctors. On 1st July, which also marks the birth anniversary of          Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, students of class 2 enthusiastically participated by coming to school dressed as doctors in white coats with stethoscopes, creating a lively and meaningful atmosphere. Some students delivered confident and informative speeches highlighting the invaluable role of doctors in keeping society healthy and safe while others showcased their creativity by making beautiful greeting cards filled with heartfelt messages to thank doctors for their care, compassion, and commitment. The celebration provided students to be a part of creative and expressive activities with an opportunity to learn about the responsibilities, hard work and sacrifices made by doctors every day. Through these activities, they developed a sense of respect and gratitude towards healthcare professionals while also understanding the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and caring for others. As a whole, the Doctors' Day celebration proved to be both educational and inspiring.
